After getting Shlar's and Dirk's approval, you can now ask Dirk about working with the centaurs. Just make sure you visit a wise and prepared friend beforehand. His magics with alchemy could be just the thing to aid you in your quest.

Just make sure you give yourself some time away from them to get yourself in order. Last thing you'd want is to be strapped to this big guy as his personal warm cocksleeve, right?

Be sure to check out Bjorn as well when you had back to your room to relieve yourself after work! He's getting ready to get back to construction work and now's the time to see him get that body back in order. Just don't expect for him to lose the gut, he is one of the local town drunks after all.
